Gluten Friendly Study – the next phase

At the end of last year we posted a request from researchers at the University of Roehampton, South West London, who were looking for volunteers with coeliac disease to take part in a study examining the effects of so-called gluten friendly bread on gut health and the inflammatory / immune responses.

You can read about the request, about the research and about the ‘GF’ bread here.

We’ve just heard once again from a member of the research team:

After a successful first arm of the Gluten-friendly bread trial in December, we are now looking for volunteers for the other phases of the study, the next starting in March 2017. Please check out our website www.glutenfriendlybread.org or get in touch with new point of contact, Mary Henderson, Research Assistant, on 07961 942436 or hendersm@roehampton.ac.uk, and she will be happy to chat on the phone or over coffee to discuss in more detail about their research and what is involved.
